HURPES awarded honorary membership to

Tek Nath Rizal

Veteran democratic leader of Bhutan and former prisoner of conscience who  was imprisoned  10 years in Bhutani prison from 1989-1999 . HURPES awarded honorary membership to Rizal  in a special programme  held in Biratnagar on 7th of November 2003  for his outstanding contribution in the field of human rights , peace and democracy.
